My name is Laura Daniela Torres Melgarejo. I am a lawyer from the Santo Tomas University in Bogotá, Colombia. I’m part of a family of many lawyers, including my dad and my brother, so I guess it’s in my blood. I love reading and watching movies in my spare time.
At the Alcozer firm I am part of the visas team, supporting the attorney Yolanda in the search for the normalization of the status of those who have stayed in the USA for a long time, or of those who have relatives who have requested them, or of those who have suffered harsh situations in their lives, which make them creditors to legalize their status. You will find me on the phone filling out the forms with you, or taking your statement and sometimes writing the arguments that support your request.
