Change of Address – USCIS – Immigration United States
If you have a pending process, case or application with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) it is important that you notify the USCIS of any change of address where you will receive all notifications of your case, if there is an important update such as an appointment for fingerprinting or a request for additional evidence and it is not received this could affect the normal course of your process.
Address changes can be made virtual from your online account or you can make the change using the USCIS website. If you are a victim of domestic violence, human trafficking or are a victim of other crimes you must submit the paper form to the Vermont Service Center.
Remember that changing your address with the U.S. Postal Service will not change your address with USCIS. If you have a pending court case, make the change with both USCIS and USPS to ensure that all notices are sent.
