New Expedited Immigration Court Process
President Joseph Biden recently announced a new expedited immigration court process for asylum applicants that were apprehended “between ports of entry on or after Friday, May 28, 2021, placed in removal proceedings, and enrolled in Alternatives to Detention (ATD),” Ten immigration courts including the immigration court in El Paso, Texas will handle the expedited cases.
